To sign up for Gamers personalized services, just follow the instructions for new users on the sign-in page of any of Gamers’ personalized services.

During registration, you'll be asked to input an email address. We will not sell, rent, or trade your email address to any third party for any reason.

During resgistration, you can optionally input your personal information, however they will not be shown in your GBOX, if you want to show them to other users, you must enter the Management Center. Check the related part of HELP for more details.

Once you’ve done the registration, you’ll get 1000 wealth as gift which you can use freely on Gamers. At the same time, you can try your first sign-in now. Here we recommend strongly that you experience the GBOX at first. It’s in fact a wonderful place where you’ll find various interest things and to create your own GBOX. Besides, the Skill Shop is also wonderful, go there and get some fantastic skills.

You can use either username or email to login Gamers.com.

For your convenience, your username, email address and password will be kept by Cookie for a while, but if you’re using a public computer (in the library or net bar), we strongly suggest you to select Instant as the Cookie choice.

Every Gamers member can have a GBOX, whose URL will be designed as http://Gamers.com/u/Userid. Compared with blogs, the features of GBOX are not only more powerful, but also much easier and interesting. You can set it all as you like, this means the color, format, background of the page are all selectable; you can even change the position and the size of each window easily just by your mouse.

On the right side of your GBOX, the are five icons including “User Profile”, “My Publicaions”, “My Friends” , “Latest Visited” and “Message Board”. Select the one(s) you like by double-click to edit and show it/them in your GBOX. You can put them wherever you like and also use automatic alignment to get them in line all at a click.

Other Icons：

Close: similar as the cross of Windows XP; when opened, it will return to the default format.

Hide: hide the windows temporarily, when reopened, it will return to the former format.

Hide all: as the name showed, can hide all the windows in your GBOX.

Show all: can show all the windows in your GBOX, of course, windows closed and unactivated not included.

Home: back to the homepage of Gamers.

Click the logo of Gamers on the upper left corner of GBOX, a window will be shown where you can get your GBOX color set as you like, including colors of theme, background and borders. The logo of Gamers here can also serve as a login gate when you’re visiting other’s GBOX.

Along with your profile here, there’re also three other important functions including “Add a friend”, “Send a message” and “Block users”. So if you want to add or block a certain user, you need just visit his/her GBOX. Easy, right?

“My profile” shows your user name, your role in Gamers, your wealth status, the time you joined Gamers and your last visit, and this information is a must defined by Gamers. Besides, self-introduction and private information is at your setting, you can make them shown or hidden in your Management Center.

If Gamers is a PC, My Gamers is the CPU of the machine. You can find all functions at the Management Center. Here, you can edit your personal information, change your password, and decide whether these information visible to the public or not.  Visible, Invisible.

Messages are like the in-site email system of Gamers. You can send messages to any individual registered member of Gamers or to group. We have NO LIMITS on your mailbox size.  You can save the message in Draft box, and send it in any time you want.

When you receive a new message, you can find it anyplace in Gamers, like Gamers homepage, News page, Management Center,etc. All you need to do is to click on the notice and read!

You can manage Message Board in your Gamers Box here. You can also send messages here. In fact, you can manage messages in “Message board” in your GBOX. But here, you can deal with messages in quantity.

You can find My friend list, Black list and Other contacts list here. For My friends list, you can invite other users to be your friend. He/She will be added in your MY FRIENDS LIST after you get his/her confirmation. You can remove somebody from your MY FRIENDS also.

For Other Contacts list, you can deal with invitations you received from other users. You can choose “yes” or “no” to decide whether to be added in others’ My friend list. If you have sent invitation to other users, you can see current status of your invitation: “Rejected” or “Waiting for Reply”. If you delete an “unsettled invitation”, the invitation is deleted at the same time.

You can find all your posts in My Publications, including forum topics, replies, and news (audited and unaudited) that you have ever posted. All your posts are sorted in Time, Column, and Category order for you to find the one you need instantly.

Wealth record is like your personal check book at Gamers. You can see every Ins and Outs of your Gamers wealth here.

You can view all skills you have or buy skills in SKILL SHOP. By using new skills, you can get more functions and rights at Gamers. Come to SKILL SHOP, we will surprise you!

At Gamers, you can not only read news, buy also post any news you like freely. You can practice the editorial skills and share latest and most valuable information with all gamers at the same time.

After you logged in at Gamers, Click POST NEWS button at Home Page or News Page to post news at the page. Editors will audit the news you post in linguistics, time-efficiency, and accuracy perspective to decide whether to display it at Gamers. Editors may modify your posts as necessary. Once being audited, the news you post will display at Gamers News page; your wealth will add 50 meanwhile. The Good news will be chosen to list in “Featured news” and displayed at Gamers Home Page. Your wealth will increase another 50 if one piece of news you post is chosen as “Featured News”.

We will give members who post news often “news auditing right.”

After logged in Gamers, you can see My News button at News Page. Click the button, you will find all the news you have ever posted, unaudited ones included. The person’s name who is responsible for auditing your news will display at the line in the right of the table. You can message him/her to discuss your opinions about the news or skills of being a qualified editor.

All news at Gamers can be divided into two groups: general news and featured news. You will find aicon before the title of every featured news and another icon at the front of the author’ name  to tell you if he/she is Gamers’ official editor.

If you like a piece of news and want others to read it, you can clickicon to vote it. The Vote Number will increase as more users vote it.

You can post your comments to any news also. But before that, you have to login Gamers first. Only registered members can post comments. Any malicious comment will be deleted. If you find any malicious comments, you can report to us. Malicious report of others can get punished however.

As a registered user of Gamers.com, you may

• Read all posts and clipboards;
• Check attachment enclosed with posts;
• Attend discussion;
• Post and reply files;
• Vote.

Registration enables us to ensure that forum discussions occur in an orderly way, however no details will be disclosed to third parties without your consent.

All users should abide by regulations of Gamers forum. Before hand users should read regulations and rules of each board carefully as all boards are charged by different moderators. Seeing violating user or posts, you can send message to report to moderators.

If there are any questions or suggestions, you are welcome to go to Board Advice, Question&Answer to tell us. 

Before post the thread, besides filling its headline and content, you should select its Caegory. Forum Category standard is the same as that of news. What is more, you can use as much as 10 tags at most (separated by comas), which can be considered as keywords that can help users to find what they want more easily. Simultaneously reply has no Category and tag to choose.

You can enclose attachment of the size no bigger than 2 M for a post, while picture attachment are supported in jpg, png, bmp. and gif. format in addition to rar, torrent, txt, doc and zip format. Only picture attachment can be inserted amid the context, and after the operation it is suggested to delete the attachment in case of affecting visual impression.

Casual user has no right to delete his own topics posted whether replied or not, so if repeating posts due to network or other objective reasons occurs, contact moderators immediately. You are entitled to delete reply freely.

Any register is free to propose a voting with special content which can be either alternative or multiple choosing limiting the maximum number of options which can be changed while edited. However the change of the content could not lead to the predicted effect. Moreover the content of the voting could be modified within the scope of adding new choice (existed ones cannot be deleted) and change display order. You possess the right of setting a valid period and finishing polling any time in advance.

Hang on the top of the web page are topics, choices and related data of polling. Users should be careful when voting as it cannot be changed once it is done.

Excellent posts will be awarded with Wealth increasing or go to the top of the page or become featured posts, while violation of forum rules and regulations will encounter points loss, deleted or even forbidden evil. Read regulations of each board for details.
