No reason was given for the delay of the first-person shooter set in the original Command & Conquer universe, but fans can take heart that EA's fiscal year 2010 starts in April 2009, meaning it could be out by next Spring.

During the Electronic Arts investors conference call, the publisher mentioned that Tiberium has been delayed. No specific reason was given for the push back of the title's release date. EA is shooting to release Tiberium now in fiscal year 2010, which starts April 1, 2009.

Tiberium is a squad-based shooter currently in development by EALA for PS3, PC and Xbox 360. The game is appropriately set in the Tiberium continuum of the Command & Conquer universe. Tiberium was notably absent from the recently concluded E3 2008.
