Away from the spotlight SK.Miou picks up another 100 euros defending his WCG Cup title.
With the Korean players busy abroad, SK.Miou has been competing a little closer to home in the WCG Cup. The WCG Cup is open to German, Austrian and Swiss players and is an eight part series.
Miou successfully won the first cup last month defeating former teammate XLorD in the semi-finals before beating German player ReignofDark in the final 2-1.

As we can see from the image above Miou as champion of WCG Cup 1, then stays on in a King of the Format to then face the winner of the next cup. Each time the winner is successful he picks up another 100 euros with a total of 800 euros up for grabs if he wins all 8 cups and defeats the current champion.
Today Miou played the winner of Cup 2 which was German player Trydying who Miou beat 2-0 to pick up his cash prize and await the next challenger which will be the winner of WCG Cup 3.
SK.Miou had this to say about his victory:
"I won the first WCG cup in December. Today I had to play against Daniel "Trydying" Zuzanski from RaptorGaming, winner of the 2nd WCG cup, in a Koth match. He was playing pretty good, but I was able to win.
I had a little advantage playing Human vs Orc and I knew what kind of strategies he would use, so I played some counter-strategies. Next month I'll play vs the winner of the February cup. I'm looking forward to it."
