Scoring His Own Game, Molyneux Gives Fable II "9 out of 10"

A review of the upcoming Xbox 360 title Fable II is now live; you may not want to take it all that seriously, though, as the review comes straight from the mouth of Lionhead Studio boss Peter Molyneux, whose development company is responsible for the game.

"I'd rate it a 9 out of 10," Molyneux added, when asked if he'd fulfilled his original vision with Fable II.

"It's the best, most complete game I've ever worked on. The look is perfect, the interface is fantastic. It's a role-playing game, but where are all the f***ing icons? Aren't you supposed to be cluttering the screen up with mini-maps and the like? Not us. -- Xbox World 360 via CVG

How modest of Molyneux to only give his own game a 9 and not the full 10 out of 10. We'll have to see for ourselves whether or not Fable II lives up to Molyneux's hype when the game releases on October 21.
