The ATI new GPUs may not be as new as their names suggest.
Nestled inside the .inf list of ATI's latest Catalyst 8.9 driver are over a dozen new ATI Radeon 4200, 4500, and 4700 GPUs. Sounds interesting right? Unfortunately these "new" GPUs may not be as new as their names suggest. Based on the .inf list, these are merely rebadged RV610 and RV630 GPUs, with RV610 going into the new Radeon 4200 cards while RV630 is used in various 4500 and 4700 SKUs.
