2015 Gets Funding, Founds Tornado Studios

2015, Inc. today announced that it has received several million dollars worth of funding for a new game set to be released for Christmas 2009. The developer of Medal of Honor: Allied Assault and Men of Valor is also forming a new division called Tornado Studios. This new Tulsa, Oklahoma company will specialize in mass market/casual gaming.

"We're still passionate about action games and shooters, in particular, and will continue to make them under the 2015 label," comments 2015 founder Tom Kudirka. "But the success of Nintendo's latest consoles, and the recent growth of the casual games market as a whole, has provided an incredible opportunity for us to reach a whole new audience."

2015 also announced that they have hired former EA manager Rich Valiquette as the company's Director of Development.
