Rumors of an RV770LE GPU to take on the sub-$150 segment have been running rampant for over a month now, and today we've got the best confirmation yet that such a GPU is in the works. VR-Zone has provided AMD slides that dish out all the details:
640 stream processing units
256-bit memory interface with GDDR3 memory
24x custom filter anti-aliasing (CFAA) and high performance anisotropic filtering
ATI CrossFireX multi-GPU support
DirectX 10.1
Game physics processing capability
Clock speeds aren't mentioned, however VR-Zone believes that board partners will produce cards with a variety of different clocks and memory sizes and types at various price points. The card is supposedly going to be released on Oct 21st and priced below $150.
