Nintendo launching new DS for the holidays?

Based on a report from a Japanese newspaper rumors are swirling that Nintendo plans to launch a new DS by the end of this year with an integrated camera and MP3 capability. The new DS will reportedly sell for less than 20,000 yen ($189), or about 16% more than the current DS pricing.
Considering Nintendo's reluctance to integrate more features into their Wii console, this would certainly be a surprising development if true. Up to this point, Nintendo has been adamantly opposed to integrating entertainment features into their game machines, focusing strictly on the gaming experience instead. But with MP3 players like the iPod Touch getting into gaming, and cell phones getting more powerful, perhaps Nintendo has had a change of heart.
