Microsoft is pulling the wraps off Windows 7 to Professional Developers Conference attendees. Multiple sites have posted coverage (with screenshots) including Ars Technica, Beta News, Neowin, News.com, and Windows SuperSite. Key highlights include the new taskbar, which now supports a new jump list feature which provides quick access to your most recently used files and apps.
In addition, Microsoft has removed the sidebar and placed the gadgets on the good 'ol desktop instead. Microsoft has also tweaked User Account Control so it isn't as obtrusive as it is in Vista. With Windows 7, users will be able to manually determine when UAC kicks in to warn you of changes made to your PC.
These are just a few of the highlights though, check out the preview articles for more details.
