Fudzilla has pictures of an 80-core CPU developed by Intel for research purposes. According to the site the CPU isn't based on Larrabee tech, although like Larrabee the chip is based around the concept of using smaller cores for processing, with the chip boasting 1TFLOP and 3.13GHz clock speed. To conserve power, the processor is capable of deactivating cores and can clock itself down to just 780MHz.
We won't see such a beast for quite some time however. Fudzilla says the tech won't see primetime for another 5-7 years.
