While Microsoft's Xbox 360 console can be had for as little as $199 today, the company is still making a killing on some of its accessories. The wireless network adapter still officially retails for $99.99 while the 512MB memory card and HDMI cable go for $49.99. The 120GB hard drive has come down in price slightly; at launch the drive sold for $179 but today it sells for $149.99. But what if you have a 20GB console and don't want to fork over that kind of money for additional storage space?
This Gamestop page hints at a 60GB Starter Pack that will be made available next week for $99.99. The pack includes the 60GB hard drive, Xbox Live headset, ethernet cable (why?), and a 3-month Xbox Live Gold card. For some strange reason however the pack doesn't include the transfer cable Microsoft ships with the 120GB HDD.
