Can Gears of War 2 chainsaw its way through GTA IV, Metal Gear Solid 4, LittleBigPlanet and Fallout 3 to win Game of the Year?
The folks at Spike TV have unveiled the categories and nominees for their sixth annual Video Game Awards. The awards show will be broadcast on the network on December 14 at 9PM. In addition to the usual award categories, this year Spike is adding a Best Independent Game that is open to public voting.
