Just days after Activision announced the Killers three-pack for Guitar Hero World Tour, Game|Life reports that Rock Band will also get its own Killers three pack, which will release on the same day as Guitar Hero’s: November 25, the day that the band’s new album, Day & Age, hits stores. We’re not sure if this is a sign of growing neutrality in the downloadable music wars, or a sign of growing competition, but either way, it’s good news for Killers fans.
The Rock Band downloadable pack will feature "Spaceman" (a new single from Day & Age), "Smile Like You Mean It," and "Mr. Brightside." The Guitar Hero pack also features "Mr. Brightside," but it has two different singles from Day & Age: "Human" and "Losing Touch."
Pricing for the Rock Band pack wasn’t reported, but we’re going to take a guess and assume it’ll follow the standard Rock Band DLC rates -- $5.50 (440 Microsoft Points) for the pack, and $1.99 (160 points) for each song individually. So which rhythm game got the better song selection? Discuss, all ye of applicable interest!
