The videogame music fan community OverClocked ReMix released the full official soundtrack for Super Street Fighter 2 HD Remix as a free download today. The HD update was always treated as a love-letter to fans, and as part of the effort Capcom worked with OC ReMix to create the first major game release with a soundtrack composed by the fans themselves. The OCRM community contributed remixes of the old-school Street Fighter 2 tunes to include genres such as jazz, hip-hop, and garage rock. The soundtrack is available as individual tracks, or a torrent that includes all 66 tracks.
"Working with the OC ReMix crew has been one of the most rewarding aspects of working on SF HD Remix, truly making the game a community effort," said Rey Jimenez, Capcom’s associate producer. "They worked above and beyond our expectations and I’m hoping that we’ll be able to work together in the future."
