The rumor that Free Radical was making Star Wars: Battlefront 3 for LucasArts.
It’s been rumored for some time now that Free Radical -- the creators behind the Timesplitters series -- was making Star Wars: Battlefront 3 for LucasArts, the latest entry in the Battlefield-styled multiplayer Star Wars spin-off. As it turns out, those rumors were true -- and now there’s visual proof. What seems to be a Deutsch fansite for the project picked up on a series of renders for the game that were hosted by former Free Radical artist Richard Smith, showing models for Han Solo, Chancellor Palpatine, a Jawa, and a few other random characters (all with a clear "Star Wars: Battlefront 3" logo in the corner).
