A demo for Skate 2 went up on the Xbox Live Marketplace earlier this week, but PS3 players have to wait until Jan 15.

In case you missed it, a demo for Electronic Art’s Skate 2 went up on the Xbox Live Marketplace earlier this week. Clocking in at 1.51GB, the demo offers a small taste of the single-player career mode, as well as a sample of the Party Play mode. This mode allows up to four players to join in, but it’s a pass-the-controller affair, with players taking turns in a couple of competitions (online play will be in the final game, but it’s not in the demo).
If you’re a PlayStation 3 owner, don’t fret -- your demo is on the way, but you’ll have to wait until January 15. Skate 2 (developed by the recently shut down EA Black Box studio) is set for release on January 20.
