Square reiterates "no plans" for Star Ocean 4 PS3

Square-Enix has reiterated that the Japanese giant currently has no plans to release a PlayStation 3 version of its hotly anticipated RPG, Star Ocean 4.
Speaking with IGN, a company representative commented, “…there are currently no plans for a PlayStation 3 version,” which falls in line with the publisher’s previous comments back in June of 2008.
The Star Ocean franchise has maintained a long affiliation with the PlayStation brand, dating back to the second instalment on PSone in 1998, before making the transition to PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable in 2003 and 2008, respectively.
Star Ocean 4 is currently scheduled for release on Xbox 360 in Japan on February 19, 2009.
