Shandong Jufeng announced to the media that they have filed a lawsuit against Korean game developer Mgame, for the branch of contract and repeat licensing.
Shandong Jufeng got the license from Mgame for the operation of Hero Online in China in March, 2005. After that they launched the closed beta and open beta for the game in Auust and December. But after the open beta, the two companies had some dispute on the technical support and the license fee. The servers were shut down in August, 2006.
In the December of 2006, Mgame announced to the media the contract was terminated without acknowing Jufeng, and signed a new license contract with Tianjin Fengyun. In August 2007, Tianjin Fengyun launched the beta test for the game and finally went into commercial launch.
