EA Delays The Sims 3

Edge Online reports that recent comments from EA imply that The Sims 3 may not make its release date. While originally planned for February 20, the date was suddenly switched to "TBA" on its official Web site, and various retailers have given it a vague window of the first half of this year. EA has now issued a statement that it is "evaluating the launch window." The statement also said, "the game looks great and in the near future we’ll have more information."

It’s impossible to tell exactly why the game is being pushed back, but with it already so close to complete it’s hard to imagine the company delaying it for very long. We’ll let you know when we hear a solid release date, and in the meantime check out our latest preview for more details.
