Rock Band 2 on Wii Gets More DLC

Now that EA and Harmonix have finally managed to sort out that whole internet thing, it’s time for another salvo of tracks from Rock Band 2’s back catalog of DLC on Wii. Starting today, Wii owners of Rock Band 2 can pick up any of the following songs for the standard price of $2.00 (200 Wii Points) apiece:
"Siva" by Smashing Pumpkins
"Just What I Needed" by The Cars
"Tell Me Baby" by Red Hot Chili Peppers
"Gimme Three Steps" by Lynyrd Skynyrd
"Live Forever" by Oasis
"Attack" by 30 Seconds to Mars
Granted, all of these songs have been available on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Rock Band since the middle of last year, but that’s no reason to devalue them now on Nintendo’s console. Should all the Wii rockers out there start to feel bitter about playing catch-up while their high-definition-console-owning friends jam along to this week’s Grateful Dead tracks, just take heart in that ancient NBC proverb: If you haven’t played it, it’s new to you.
