Evidently deciding that the Party Pack, Legendary Cars pack, Toy Cars pack, Boost Specials pack, and Big Surf Island pack just weren’t enough new downloadable packs for Burnout Paradise, Criterion has announced yet another premium DLC pack for release later this year: Cops and Robbers (via Joystiq).
The announcement was made through the in-game "Criterion Games Network," where the pack was explained as "dedicated to bringing the thrills and spills of cops and robbers car chases in Paradise City." It’s planned for release "soon after" all the other packs are pushed through the pipeline, and it’ll mark the first return of cop-chasing gameplay to the series since Burnout 2: Point of Impact.
You can check out images of the new pack right now through the Criterion Games Network on the PlayStation 3 and PC versions of the game (but not, for some reason, on the Xbox 360). The screens are also planned to go up on Criterion’s website on Monday.
