A lot of people say that Xbox has a wide selection of games and has the top quality line ups year after year but if you really think about it, they don’t.  It seems as if games like Gears of war 2 and Mass Effect have already maxed the 360.  When I saw the comparison of Gears of War 1 side by side with Gears Of War 2 I made the mistake of verifying which was which.  Gears of War 2 is currently the most graphical game on the 360 console.  The developers of Gears Of War 2 claim that it uses 90% of the Xbox’s power, but it doesn’t look better than Killzone 2 which is on the PS3 and only uses 60% of the PS3’s power.  That leaves me thinking if the 360 has already reached its limit.

In 2008 the PS3 delivered a very strong line up and its games had some of the most stunning visuals seen from a console, resulting in MGS4 getting a perfect score.  The Xbox 360 also had a good line up but the games that had good graphics ended up coming out with more glitches than other games and are continuously getting patched day after day.  Can the 360 handle a game that uses its full potential or will it fall short?  It even makes you think if the 360 can make a game that will get a perfect score that is exclusive to the console.

I don’t think the Xbox has what it takes to make exclusive game that can get a perfect score because you have to do a lot more than just have a good story and gameplay this generation to get a perfect score.  I personally thought that Gears of War 2 and Mass Effect could have been great games if they didn’t have so many glitches.  The glitches really take you out of the mood when you’re playing the game.  Only time will tell if the 360 can do it or not but  we’ll just have to wait it out, but if there is a game that I do think it may have a chance of getting a perfect score it would be Alan Wake.
