There's still a healthy demand for Halo products as this time, though the game isn't exactly putting up Halo 3 numbers.
Microsoft announced today that Halo Wars has sold over a million units worldwide. This makes the game the best selling RTS title for this current generation of consoles. Halo Wars is currently available in North America and Europe exclusively for the Xbox 360.
Additionally, Microsoft revealed that there have been more than 2.6 million Halo Wars multiplayer matches played. This equals over 118 years of time spent in multiplayer matches on Xbox Live, with over 200,000 players logging on daily.
While Halo Wars' developer Ensemble Studios is no more, Microsoft is working with some veterans of the developer at Robot Entertainment to create more Halo Wars content.
