The Championship Gaming Series(CGS), member of professional video gaming leagues, has decided to set up a training center in Wuhan, China. The purpose of setting up this facility is to select talented players from more than 50 universities and more than 1.5 million students in Wuhan.

In addition, the league is building a 1,000-seat arena that will be used exclusively for matches. It also looks for sponsorship from Microsoft for some high-end matches.
The CGS got six player drafts in last June: OPTX from San Francisco, Complexity from Los Angeles, Chimera from Chicago, Venom from Dallas, Core from Carolina and 3DNY from Newyork. Each team has ten players and a manager. Among the players, there are five CS: Source players, two DoA4 players, and two PGR3 players, and a FIFA07 player.
Their sponsors are DirectTV, SkyTV and StarTV. According to Steven Roberts, VP of DirectTV, the three parties has invested millions of dollars in a 4 year-contract with CGS. He said the company believed this was the next booing sports activities a year ago.
