According to Home Media Magazine, Sony’s Blu-ray format has seen a rise in market share versus DVD of approximately 13 percent for the week ending March 29, thanks largely to the release of the latest James Bond flick.
Twilight takes the top spot for DVD sales, while Bond outing Quantum of Solace easily nabs first place in the Blu-ray charts, pushing Twilight to second place. In 3rd place was Bolt, with Casino Royale re-enterting the charts in 4th position, and Pinocchio coming in 5th.
Other Blu-ray titles taking strong position within the charts are the James Bond Blu-ray Collection: Volume 3, Watchmen: Tales of the Black Freighter & Under the Hood, with The Fast and the Furious Trilogy doing well too.
