Perfect World Gained the New Economy Award

The third iResearch New Economy Conference 2008 was held on April 9th. This yearly conference presented New Economy Awards to companies with excellent performance between 2007 to 2008. Perfect World was awarded the Best Development Strategy Enterprise 2007-2008 in the conference.

The iResearch New Economy Awards are for the Chinese enterprises in the new ecnomy area which makes contribution to the development of the industry. iResearch Consulting Group chose the award list based on the research and analysis on the industry, with the combination of data collected through iUserTracker of iResearch. As well as the judge of experts from industry, and online votes from net users, all guaranteed the objectiveness and equity of the awards.

During this awards, there are three indicators to choose from: revenue increase index, profit increase index, visit volume index. Through the combination of three indexes, iResearch chose the most developing enterprise in 2007.

During this year's award, there were two awards companies has taken part in the selection: the Best Development Strategy Enterprise and the Most Potential Enterprise. Seven companies: Sohu, Tencent, NetEase, Baidu, Finance World, Alibaba shared the rest awards. During the conference, marketing expercts, senior executives from famous IT companies and media conducted further discussion one the current situation and future trend on the new economy.
