Call of Duty 4 Sees 13 Million Unique Xbox Live Users

According to Robert Bowling, the number of Xbox Live users has grown to a completely "insane" number.

Speaking on Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb's podcast, Robert "fourzerotwo" Bowling confirmed that Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has over 13 million users via Xbox Live. The game was recently confirmed to have 13 million in sales across PS3, PC and Xbox 360 platforms.

"The thing we learned the most probably is how much focus goes into multiplayer," said Bowling. "I mean Call of Duty 4 on Xbox Live just exploded. Right now, we're 13 million unique users on Xbox 360, and that's insane."

The first trailer for the sequel, Modern Warfare 2, released over the weekend, confirming that game's release date will be November 10, 2009.
