The seemingly endless series of teases and countdowns has finally culminated in Hideo Kojima's official announcement of Metal Gear Solid: Rising at Microsoft's E3 press conference this morning. The short teaser video didn't reveal much about the Xbox 360 Metal Gear, aside from it apparently starring that cybernetic ninja everyone loves to hate, Raiden.
With over two hours still left on the Kojima Productions countdown, however, there could be a few more surprises in store for Metal Gear fans. Also unclear is whether or not this will be an Xbox 360 exclusive, or if Rising will make its way to the PlayStation 3 as well. We'll keep you updated if and when more info becomes available.
