First Max Payne 3 screenshots emerge

The first few screens of Max Payne 3 show us a more mature and weathered Max in a Brazilian city that appears to be, shall we say, a tropical paradise? 

Max Payne 3 takes place 12 years after the events of the previous title. Rockstar Games’ third-person shooter brings Max to São Paulo, Brazil, where he’s now employed in the private sector, working for a rich local family. The screens show our rough-and-tough protagonist gunning down thugs in the slums of Brazil. We mostly have back shots of Max, but he still appears fit enough to walk around the South American city with guns blazing.
