It will take until Q3 2008, but then Mac users will finally have access to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, one of the most acclaimed and successful titles of the past year.
Aspyr Media today announced that the release of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare for Mac has been pushed back to Q3 2008. The company says this time will be used "to ensure a high-quality gaming experience for Mac gamers." Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare will be available for $49.99 when it releases later this year.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare was an immediate hit as soon as it released in 2007. The game went on to become the top title on Xbox Live and the best selling game overall for 2007. Some recently released DLC set a record for downloads on Xbox Live.
