As any Xbox 360 owner who has experimented with the 360's A/V capabilities can tell you, one advantage the 360 has held over the PS3 is the ability to play music during gameplay. According to a forum user on GameFAQs though, that advantage may finally be coming to an end. In addition to in-game messaging and a achievement trophy system, the upcoming 2.4 system update will also allow you to play music during gameplay. The user, Knight613 has even posted a screenshot of the new trophy system as proof.
According to Knight, the new update should be released sometime next week.
