See the first Dragon Age: Origins trailer now!

BioWare has released the first trailer for its upcoming fantasy role-playing game Dragon Age: Origins. It looks very, very nice.

The trailer runs for less than a minute, but every moment has impressed us. Fans of the high fantasy seen in Baldur’s Gate and Neverwinter Nights might be disappointed, as it feels more Lord of the Rings than Dungeons and Dragons. It’s brutal, bloody and far darker than we could ever have imagined.

There’s no reason to say any more, other than check back later on next week for our thoughts on whatever the company shows off at E3.
