E3 will showcase literally hundreds, if not thousands of video games during the conference. The Endsights staff got together and asked each other one simple question: “Which one, out of all of the games at E3, are you most anticipating?” Their answers, inside…

Art Green: LittleBigPlanet

This is easily the game that I’m looking forward to the most this year, so naturally it would be the game I’m looking forward to hearing more details about at E3. The core concept that has me most excited about is the ability to create levels with buddies online, and then posting them on the Interwebs for the world to see. Every demo that has been shown of this game makes the creation system seem so simple, but at the same time, look extremely rewarding if you put time and thought into your designs. Being able to share your work with other people is great, but seeing what other, more creative individuals do with the tools at their disposal will add potentially infinite replayability.

Hopefully at E3 we’ll get another demo, a firm release date, and have the guys at Media Molecule show off some more of the single-player content that LittleBigPlanet provides.

Aram Kuredjian: Fable 2

Honestly, picking Fable 2 was a very tough choice. There are so many games I want to know about, but in the end I had to pick Molyneaux’s sequel to one of the most hyped games that delivered none of its promises. Molyneaux claimed that with Fable he wanted to create the greatest RPG ever. Of course, he failed, and delivered a game that was far from what was promised. But with Fable 2, and the current-gen hardware, I can see Molyneaux’s vision finally coming true.

With reportedly simple, yet masterful combat, a story and game world that everyone can shape to be their own, beautiful visuals and innovative ideas, Fable 2 has me held by the throat, and it’s letting me choose how I want to be hanged.

Denis Poirier: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

Just like my esteemed colleague Aram, I had a very tough time choosing only one game for my Most Anticipated of E3. There are so many interesting games on display this year that it makes the job of choosing just one ridiculously tough.

The Force Unleashed is my choice in the end. Being the huge Star Wars geek that I am, I don’t see any other game that could excite me more than this one. A live demo showing off the Kashyyyk level with Darth Vader as the protagonist would be uber sweet, but I highly doubt LucasArts would allow that to happen. Nonetheless, I look forward to learning more about the game, its story and characters, and seeing those two graphic engines in action. Also, some more information on how the Wii version will work would be interesting.

Nate Seites: Mirror’s Edge

Every year before E3, I choose my most anticipated game. This year, I’m going to change up my option a bit. In years before I looked forward to seeing more of the bigger titles such as the next Halo game or Gears of War. This year, I’ve seen every demo, every trailer, every preview page for all of those big title games. There isn’t a whole lot out there about Mirror’s Edge, but from what I’ve seen, it should be fun to play.

EA DICE has something important to do with this game — maintain their innovative view and still keep quality. Let’s take the game Black for example. The gameplay was fun for a while because it was one of the first games to have such destructable enviroments, but it seemed like that was its main focus; just getting the destruction right. Mirror’s Edge seems to be all about the player’s body awareness. It would be easy for EA DICE to just get their first person view the way they want and throw in a mediocre story with it. On the other hand, if they manage to get a good story with it, keep the gameplay fun and don’t go too overboard with the body awareness, I think this has the potential to be one of the better games of the year.
