Acording to a report by Variety, Warner Bros. Studio and Capcom Entertainment have joined forces to bring a Lost Planet movie adaptation to theaters. While no financial numbers have been disclosed, it appears Capcom is expected to contribute cash to the filming, much like they are currently doing with the new Street Fighter movie.
Also of note is that David Hayter, the incomparable voice of Solid Snake, will be writing the screen play for the film. Hayter has recently finished up work on the movie Watchman. He also did drafted early scripts for such movies as X-Men and X2.
Capcom will be busy as it's believed the company is not only planning a sequel to the game Lost Planet, but creating a 4th movie installment to their Resident Evil franchise.
