MTV Games’ Harmonix, developer of Rock Band, has today officially announced with marketing and distribution partner Electronic Arts that the game will be released in seven more countries this year: Italy, Sweden, Spain, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg.
The release is set for an exclusive launch window on Xbox 360 and is slated to ship on July 24. The game will be released on "additional platforms" in the aforementioned territories later in the year.
Rock Band in Europe (rated 12+ by PEGI) will come with the 58 tracks from the North American release and nine additional tracks, including Die Toten Hosen’s "Hier Kommt Alex," Juli’s "Perfekte Welle," H-Block X’s "Countdown to Insanity," Blur’s "Beetlebum," Oasis’ "Rock ’n’ roll star," Tokio Hotel’s "Monsoon," Muse’s "Hysteria" and Les Wampas’ "Manu Chao."
