Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced today that a game based upon the movie Wanted is being created. Under development at GRIN, whose credits include Tom Clancy: Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter and the upcoming Bionic Commando, the game will incorporate elements like "curving bullets" and "assassin time." Story-wise,the Wanted game will take place directly after the movie and even will go into more detail of Wesley Gibson’s training

"Publishing the Wanted game is an excellent opportunity for Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to team with Universal on a global property with terrific cross-platform potential. Players will get to immerse themselves in the Wanted universe with a stunning visual experience and engaging gameplay."

The Wanted game will release late in 2008 for PC and "next-gen consoles."
